just read it Rusty, to control temps i'd need to run an AC if i were to do a grow room, and i'm not going to do that. i think i can get plenty of light to the plants by the window with lights added. i'm more worried about darkness, since from what i've read indoor plants can't take ambient light, like outdoor plants can, even though nobody can say why. my guess is it's because outdoor plants are used to day turning to night slowly, and with indoor grows day and night come instantly. so i'm hoping that since my grow will basically be following the natural slow happening day/night cycle, the plants will react to ambient light like outdoor plants, which seem to have no problem with it. not ideal, but worth a try. back in the days before grow lights, people did window grows with good luck. it's kind of like back in the day when there was nothing but analog watches, everyone know how to tell time. since digital watches came out less and less people can tell you what time it is if you give them an analog watch, they're so used to being told what time it is. the old ways still work, we just need to remember how to use them. or maybe i'm full of shit, we'll see.
