Id like to suggest to capton and 4lyfe that they learn what theyre talkin about before they start say shit like "thats B.S." or "Alll you mofos DUMB" i know its prolly all in good fun but people come on here for answers and shit and you think you have to talk down to them like your a fuckin weed expert or some shit.
as it has been pointed out, chronic describes a specific strain. However, it can also mean really dank bud, or as where i live in the midwest, bud laced with coke. so the "b.s." and what the "dumb" people said is actually right, depending on what part of the country they are from.

shwag is ussually bricked up weed from mexico and it has a lot of seeds and stems and chronic is weed w/ coke on it and it is also a strain but a lot of people just call really good nugs "the chronic"

Like in a dictionary/encyclopedia, the scientific classification is sometimes "cannabis SATIVA" to me it's kinda weird that it's cannabis SATIVA and not indica or just cannabis.

i'm not sure if i could tell the difference between indica and sativa from smoking because i havent been able to document the strain other than a trip to amsterdamn but i hear sativa is the more energenic high and indica is a laid back high. also i think schwag is a useles useless thing. i hate it.

"chronic" is an actual strain (appeared around 92, i think), although many people refer to any kind buds as "chronic"..

there are three TYPES of cannabis: cannabis sativa, cannabis indica, and cannabis ruderalis (ruderalis grows in russia, it's a different plant from indica or sativa, not as potent in thc). if you're interested in learning more, just serach for "cannabis indica", "cannabis sativa", and "cannabis ruderalis".. there's tons of info available on the web
