has anyone ever gotten poisonous boomers?

What really freaks me out about boomers is if I get one of the really poisonous species of mushrooms. I'm no PhD mycologist, so I'd have no way of knowing if what I got was the real deal. Have any of you got some boomers thinking they were real, then later finding yourself having to go to the hospital for doing serious damage to your liver? I don't so much fear the trip, that seems cool. But alas, can 2g of even the most poisonous of mushrooms not do much?

I've never had that happen to me. Although it seems like it always could be a risk, the amount of times it happens is probably very minute

i really doubt that would happen because most shrooms sould now are grown in kits. it would be dangerous though if your dealer was out of shrooms and decided to make some cash by picking some out of his backyard

yeah that's what freaks me out. Then again, the dealer runs the risk of being ratted out if they sell bad shit.

yes easy... if u've got the spores... im 16, so i cant buy shit from the net... cant wait till i can though, i'll be growing mushrooms when i get old enough to order shit.

i ate some fresh fly angeric the red and white ones that i picked out the gruond with a friend they where really wet, and about an hour l8er i was just feelin abit fucked like i was ill then i was feeling really bad no visuals at all. had a shower and checked up loads of large chunks of it, iv never picked my own again.

That was dumb as shit. You're lucky you didn't end up dead. Fly agaric has some seriously poisonous relatives that look very similar to it. Some that look near identical, just a little off-color.

Anyway, if you're mushroom picking, picking psilocybe's in cow dung is usually the safest, though still not fool-proof. Liberty caps are often a safe bet. Remember to wash them off well. They did grow on cow poop.
