so here I sit with my white widow at the 49th day. Published data says this is an 8 week flowering plant. I am watching my buds and see that the pistils are starting to turn and fully expect that somewhere in the next week or two I will reach the point where 50% of the pistils have turned to their classic reddish brown. 75% of the trichomes are now cloudy, the rest are clear with a few amber here and there. My question to all of you with the older plants is:
Why are you waiting??

I plan on harvesting when the buds appear to be ripe (50% or more of the pistils turned color) and fully expect that most of the trichomes will be cloudy by then with about 5% amber showing. Am I missing something here?

A friend told me he's gone 85 days on ww and the trichs never really amberd up, said the trichs looked about the same at 85 days as they did at 70:( there was a Rating: 5
