hello all, im new to the forum. just about got all my equipment to start my first grow. just wondering wat would be the best seeds to use im looking for a heavy stone with a high yield. any help much appreciated.

hey where you getting your seeds?
depends where your going to get them
and 1st grow
i would say get Feminized seeds and take a look at some of these threads below
you want a heavy sit on ur ass cant do anything go for northern lights or white rhino.
yield is something that improves with time so dont expect much and anything over is a bonus

thanks a lot for the info ill be sure to have a read of it. i was given some seeds from a friend white rhino and church so i think i will just use them 4 now an see how i get on

There are a zillion options and things to consider. Believe me I considered most of them in the time I was picking my first seeds. I would very much like to help you save a ton of time...

First, the most important question, where are you going to get them from?
Second most important question, where are you going to get them from?
Third, where are you going to get them from...?

Don't mean to be redundant but once you find a sight you are comfortable with (I reccomend the single seed company) shop around for the seeds you want. You can shop by height at maturity, strain, feminized, photoperiod or auto etc. My first purchase arrived in the USA 10 days later. About $60.00 total with shipping. I got 5 seeds, 3 I paid for and 2 were free. All are feminized Double White, NL/Big Bud, Pineapple Express, were paid for and I got Sweet seeds Veneno and TNT Kush as the freebies. As of late it is near impossible to get a lousy eigth of smoke for less than $60.00 so figuring in my first harvest and continued clone propagation they will more than pay for themselves for a long time to come. By the way if you check the prices on those seeds at the site I mentioned, you'll see the free ones were just as expensive and in 1 case more expensive then the paid for items.

I am a first time grower myself, I picked seeds that I thought would best suite my needs. I wanted and easy grow that would be resistant to molds and parasites, something of medium height, 6 to 8 week flowering, mostly indica :bigsmoke: With a great yield. So I went with what I thought was best.

But bottom line, they are gonna be your girls so why not choose your own? I have not ever seen a seed advertised as being shitty ditch weed seeds! LOL!:S2:

Also, Attitude seeds has a seed finding function that is rather helpful as well.

Since its your firsr grow I would go with some Ak-47 or Northen Lights for a first nice beginner strains and you'll get a decent yield.
