Since they have removed the state tags, it is difficult from this to tell where you are from. If you are in a mmj state, most likely a lot of stuff is pretty strong. It seems like an odd experience, overall. There are many detials in a lot of threads, similar to yours. Except, it seems, 'the guy that kept saying, you are o.k.' and didn't seem to be concerned for you, but tried to 'let it ride' and let you ride it out, may have had an alterior motive. You really should feel good the next day! I have had the experience of sharing a joint with what I thought was a freind, only to find out, after 3 days of no sleep and feeling no pain: Something was wrong. Before you toke, take a look at the person that is supplying the weed. If you don't know them well or someone who does-think twice before partaking. Most threads that deal with a "Bad Reaction" usually mention a fast and racing heartbeat even delusions (you seemed well aware) you did not! When you first start partaking, usually it takes a few times to really get high and "go with it." Perhaps, you may have been tense around the people you were with, you seemed well aware and needed to relax (if it was really got pot).
The only part that bugs me, is the 'morning after.' Usually, if you suspect something was wrong, it was. You may never know for sure, until you try the same strain again. I would suggest, you try to get some and try it at home with some friends and compare the results. I am a curious one, so that is what I would do. I would never be afraid of any type of pot, just suspicious of why it landed in my hand for free!
