If there are not too many roots I carefully take the chunks of the rock wool with no roots off before replanting. If I am going into the soil I just leave the rockwool. It does not decompose though and you should remove it at the end of the season.

Could someone tell me how to deal with them...they seem to be in a type of rockwool, so can i put them straight into soil or do I try and get them out of the rockwool. Obviously I sould get the plastic surround off first. Also can I put them into pots straight away or should I let them settle into there new surroundings first? TIA Rating: 5
