I am organizing a medical marijuana grower's collective to provide medication at no cost to California patients who can not grow it themselves. For information on how to join this collective

This is a great idea! Although the biggest downside to this is that EVERYONE and their mom will want to join this collective and claim they cannot grow their own to get meds at no cost. Another point is that most growers have to pay out of pocket expenses to grow a crop, most growers will not give away meds especially if they are paying more than 1-200 a month just to grow. Great idea but I really don't see any growers paying money to grow for others and receive no compensation in return for their hard work. Sorry but I for one will not give away what I worked hard and waited 3 months for to someone who wants to just hold out their hand........ Their has got to be some kind of incentive for the grower for this to work......otherwise I don't think it will happen......
Just a guess, are you a Cali patient that can't grow your own and don't have the funding to be able to support your med intake???

Membership in the collective will be limited, and cost free. The collective will retain a percentage of the harvest to pay the bills. Marijuana costs too much, and puts a strain on many people's budget.

Ok, I need your help in undertanding this.... If the collective is not charging patients for meds and a percentage of the harvest is retained to pay bills, how exactly is the collective going to "pay bills"? Last I checked PG&E doesn't accept dried and cured Cannabis as payment.......
