Opinions on CO2 for heat control

OK . here's my ? Yesterday it was 84 degrees here - a big difference in a week - I was wondering about all the hot air being drawn into room from passive intake. the hotter it gets the faster the extractor fan runs. Would the room stay cooler and the AC not run as much if the room was sealed and co2 was introduced rather then exchanging air all the time ? If so what co2 system works well . I have seen the Hydrofarm tank regulators and timers for under $140. Also how long would a tank of co2 last in an 800 sguare feet grow space. I know there are different opinions on co2 what are your experiences and results ?

Opinions on CO2 for heat control

The cost to get enough CO2 to ventilate the room properly would far outweigh the heat issue and not have any real effect on the heat. The lights/power supplies generate the heat. The above ground plant can take temps well into the 100's, but not if the roots get above 80-85 degrees F. In the summer I put my pots directly on an uninsulated concrete floor to keep them cooler, that being about the best I am willing to work for.

So in summary, control the root temp and keep air moving for transpiration and you will be fine.
