im using canna boost accelerator, i think you've been reading it and seeing bloom instead of boost lol

Just checked the bag of soil its actually from homebase...multi purpose compost

    Homebase Multi-Purpose Compost - 60L from Homebase.co.uk

thats the exact one, doesn't say too much but 4-5 week buffer and not suitable for plants that dont like lime, then lists some flowers? - cannabis wasn't on the list though har har

Cannaboost is not a bloom nutrient. It is an additive that increases the rate of photosynthesis. You are going to need a bloom nutrient like Canna Terra Flores (just an example lots of different ones about).

As for the soil.... It doesn't really say what is in it, which isn't much use. It says it only feeds for 4 weeks, so hopefully it won't get in the way and cause you problems.

You are going to need to sort out some bloom nutes though. In the Canna range bloom nutes end with 'Flores'

Im going to get a bottle of the terra flores soon as in that case. Also lots of the leaves are yellowing on the bottom but slowly creeping up, i did give them that general npk - miracle gro - but it still seems to continue and dont really want to feed them it when they are flowering, What should i do ? With the flores should i get the a & b one or just the one on its own ' Terra Flores'. Cheers pjay, you might aswell be growin these plants for me haha

The Terra Flores should come in 2 seperate bottles an A and a B bottle. You have to add the A+B nutes to water in equal amounts as you use the food (Don't mix the nutrients neat).

All the nutes I have seen come in an A+B formula (I think they all do, but if I say that, some smartass will go and prove me wrong ). The reason they come in seperate bottles is that the ingredients are not stable together over long periods, so don't mix too much up in advance.

edit: You are that smartass! Just read your post and I think you might be right. The Terra line looks like it might be an all in one.

There is a & b versions but i think theres an all in one aswell for soil that would normally come as vega and flores if sold as a pair. Glad i only need one as its cheaper. So what do you think about the yellowing & npk ,wait and see what happens with the flores or continue with npk ? I think its happened because theres so little soil that theres probably no nitrogen left in any of it to sustain it the plants through flowering..

Well yellowing is generally a sign of N deficiency, I would give them a little of that to sustain them until you get your nutes.

For what its worth I use the Canna terra line of nutes and as a first timer found them very good - not that I have any comparison lol. I began with the vega and continued with that right through until the girls started showing flowers (at Canna's recommendation). Then switched to terra flores (comes as one bottle) used with Cannazym. Later on I added in the PK13/14 that is also part of their line. Maybe it was partly my strain or the extra couple of weeks with the vege nutes but I had virtually nul yellowing (a touch of light bleaching) and its only now into their first week of flush that the bottom fans are starting to yellow off and drop.
I didn't use the Boost though, just stuck with molasses.
All the best Charbud with your girls - they're looking good
