I need to fix a light leak around AC unit

I have a window AC unit and there is light leaking thru it. The louvers on the sides sticking out the building are lit up pretty good tonight. I have have had the unit sealed for winter not needing it. Today it was 83 and the unit came out of cover. Now how do I fix the leak, obviously if it leaks out at night it will leak in during my dark hours.which is during the daylight of day. The unit is a 5000 BTU Artic King , and I could build a box to blind the sides , if so how much space do I leave. I know there are some HVAC dudes out there. Ga Grown for one, got any ideas southern guy

Black foam tape, black duct tape and black silicone sealant...if it slides out of the case, it will be easier to get to where the leaks are...if it's in a molded plastic case, good luck! You cannot block off the louvers....airflow on small units like this are critical! You can build a box of sorts to cover the entire thing outside, just leave the bottom or side or something open, so the proper amount of air can flow over the condenser coil. That's the outdoor or hot coil...where it blows the heat away. It absolutely HAS to be able to get rid of the heat! I dunno where Ga. is lately...
