Was bored today and thought eff it, lets do tha damn thang!!!!

Today was their 52nd day flowering. From veg day 1 to day of harvest was 69 days total......Sweet.....:greenthumb:

I had been flushing them for the last ten days. Was going to wait until the 56th day but, oh well....

I untied them all just before I cut them down so you all can see how heavy the are....just leaning over like crazy.....

Pic 1 is where they are going to hang dry. Very easy box to construct made form 1/2" OSB board.....was left over from when building the veg and flwr cabs so made good use of it....

I weighed them just as you see them in the pics, after trimming..... Wet Weight came in at 1,170grams.... I can get a good idea of what my dry weight will be by dividing the wet weight by 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2. 1/4 being the worst case scenario and 1/2 being best....

At 1/4, it would come out to 292.5g = 10.4oz
At 1/3, it woud come out to 390g = 13.9oz
At 1/2, it would come out to 585g = 20.8oz

Realistically though, I think I will end up somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 the wet weight... The buds are dense and thick, so we shall see....

Forgot to mention..... Been toking on that sample I took a few days ago and man, you know that bud you toke and toke and toke and it just seems that the bowl just won't finish???? Yeah, this is that kind of bud..... It's sticky and dense as heck.... Smokes a LOT and smokes for days.... The sample had a nice fruity flavor mixed with a little harshness. I know the harshness is from not being flushed so I cannot wait for the ones I just hacked to cure......

That drying box you have there looks handy. Finding a suitable spot for drying was a nuisence for us last time as I still needed them somewhere close to to the filter (for the smell) but not so much that they dry out too quick. Do you bother with a fan in there with the tops? I was just curious about ventilation

I drilled 12 - 1/2" holes on two sides of the box, on the sides where the string is tied. I also have a small 6" clip fan blowing air air away from the box to keep air flowing. The box is right next to my ozone generator but i can still make out the smell, dank!!! Really glad I planted those herbs, flowers and bushes outside my grow space. The plants on the outside leave people to smell the scents of the outside plants that mask the smell of my indoor garden, sweet smelling indoor garden......:thumbsup:

Now they are just gaining weight like:jawdropper:......:thumbsup:


They are just leaning which ever way gravity is letting them.... I've tied them but not enough to keep them erect.... After watching them grow at an angle like this, I have noticed huge amounts of growth on the ones that are leaning more than the others. I think the noticeable amount of growth is due to better light covereage over the colas that are growing at like a 45 degree angle....

The nute bottle in the pic is a 32oz bottle....

One thing, the reason I chose the word leaning was to help, you the reader, identify which ones were being described. After all, they all look huge in the photos.... My bad if my verbage threw you off.....I guess its a good thing that my greenthumb skills are better than my grasp for grammer....either way Thanks....

And yes the bigger plants that were leaning more than the others were able to get better light coverage to the lower buds making them even heavier:thumbsup:

They finished drying the other day. After cutting the buds off of the main stem, I weighed them. The heaviest cola weighed in at 19.7g. The heaviest plant weighed in at 48.3g. Total weight came out to 352g, 12.5oz. Not bad for 10 plants in a 2' x 2'-8" space and 69 total days growing. Now I know that I can get roughly 1oz +/- per plant vegging for 17 days and flowering for 52, with my current setup and method.....

On to the next grow....
