Indoor SOG Grow Log......
This morning I was asking my lil ladies why they weren't branching out. They told me they didn't have enough soil to branch out and wanted a new pot with more soil. I had no choice but to oblige.
Your plants will talk to you. It's up to you to listen and understand them.
The six packs I had them in were 5.6oz each site. Now they are in 18oz party cups. I know not the best but they work. They will spend the next 10-17 days in these cups before being transplanted to their final 6" pots for flowering.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be losing one do to the man handling that I did with it. Like a dumbass, I pulled too hard on one of them and seperated it from most of the roots. Like 1/4" roots were left. This one might be back on clone status and not veg. I'm thinking about keeping one as a mother plant. Not sure, cause i've never kept a mother before. I've always just cloned from my clones.
So this is what they currently look like......

Indoor SOG Grow Log......
Pic 1: Punched out drain holes from the inside to out. Used a phillips head screwdriver.
Pic 2: Placed a layer of perlite on the bottom of the cups. I did this so that moisture isn't retained at the bottom, better drainage.
Pic 3: Removed the clone from the 5.6oz site. Look at those roots!!!!
Pic 4: Put a handful of soil over the layer of perlite, a little over half full. Made a little room and placed the clone into the soil.
Pic 5: Covered with soil.
The taller ones are still getting LST.
Note: I LOVE IT! Who woulda thought plants could be so much fun......

Looking good man. Are you still using the great white? I find it works real good with 1/2 scoop to a gallon of water with 1/2 tsp of molasses , I had roots packed in 16oz cups after ten days. Can't wait to see this after the flip. Peace

Thank you!
I use the mychorrhizae every transplant. I sprinkle some directly on the roots with a salt shaker. The soil I use has some already in it too. I haven't used it in watering though. I will try mixing with water on the next round. I too can't wait to see how they come out after flipping!!!!

Indoor SOG Grow Log......
They got really bushy in the last couple of days. FIM and LST will do this. I FIM'd them on Veg Day 13 and tied them down as well. Days later they look like the pic below. Trunks are getting PHAT too!! These ladies will be going into the flower box after Veg Day 20. I'm going to keep these to a maximum of three colas per plant. After seeing how this strain grows SCROG style, I'm definitely going to minimize the budsites for improved bud production. I might just lollipop them and call it a day, we'll see....
Pic 2 is the one that I had seperated all but 1/4" of roots during transplant. I'm happy to say that it is growing!! So glad I didn't scrap it!! Also I made up my mind, I will be keeping 2 vegging for future clones. So only 10 of the original 14 will make it to the flower box....
Happy Growing!!!!

I guess we will find out in a few weeks with these
So here is my transplanting process for this change from veg to flower:
Pic 1: Placed two handfuls of perlite in each pot to create a layer at the bottom. Shake the pots with only the perlite in before adding the soil. This will shake out all the smallest pieces of perlite and leave the larger pieces.
Pic 2: Placed 3 18oz party cups full of soil into each pot and created an indentation of the cup for placement of the clone, with a modified pot/party cup.
Pic 3: After removing clone from original pot, sprinkled some Great White Shark mychorrhizae, then placed into modified pot, then into soil indentation.
Pic 4: Covered with soil......Watered.....
Pic 5: Placed into flower box and screen placed over for support of the trunks, they're going to need it!!!!

Indoor SOG Grow Log......
They responded to the light just as they should've. (pic 1) But I realize that they are going to stretch before producing buds so I decided to utilize the screen and train them to stay at that level. (pic 2) I'd really hate for them to bleach as they get closer to the light which is why I'm doing a scrog/sog. I'm still going to limit the bud sites to three max per plant. Now it's just of matter watching them grow......
Happy Growing......

Side Note: I'm only going to veg for 14 days on the next run......

Indoor SOG Grow Log......
And flower production has begun:thumbsup:!!
This turned out to be more of a SCROG than an SOG. Little bit of both. I now know that I need twice the number of plants to pull off a true SOG. One day, one day......
So 2 of them I left with 6 budsites, the rest with 3 and one of them was topped by pulling it too hard by LST on the last week of veg. I am really interested to see how the topped one produces. I figure that I am going to try and top my next set and use the "top" portion to create new clones. So far the topped one appears to be growing great, just like the rest of them but shorter, which is what I want....
