I ordered from singleseedcentre and received five seeds, three I ordered and two free. They arrived in exactly ten days and were packaged exactly as decribed. Individually identified and discretely delivered. I was indeed quite pleased.

However, when I tried to germinate them I did not have good results at all. I started with the freeebies and used the paper towel technique that I have used with great success for over thirty years. The seeds "cracked" open and started to poke out of the open end just like always but the just stopped making any progress at all. I never let them dry out or become over moisturized.

I next tried one of the ones I paid for and got the same results. I then tried the rockwool for seeds method (small hole in top of small rockwool cube) and got the exact same results. I have used this method with great success in the past as well. Very frustrating indeed.

I decided to contact them for advice regarding this issue today but discovered that they will not answer any questions with regard to germination. I get it from a legal standpoint but here I am with one remaining seed, the one I most wanted to work, and I am at my wits end as to how to proceed.

Has anyone had success with seeds from this company and if so PLEASE advise me as to how you did it. I am open to the possibility that the failure was mine but given the multiple attempts with methods I have used for decades I am totally frustrated.

I am absolutely pleased with every aspect of dealing with this company except of course the end results.
