Who couldn't have seen this coming?...this guy's a JOKE! WHAT A GREAT LEADER HE IS!!!! <---sarcasm!!! I really don't care for Sarah Palin either, but she said the only thing I agree with so far and that was "2012 can't get here soon enough" and I tend to agree with her on that note...I hope we can make it to 2012!!! Vote out the incumbents...every one of them! We HAVE to get these Reps of ours actually representing US instead of all these corps and special interest groups bribing these guys! Lobbyists beware! You guys are the next thing to get rid of! I think if we get rid of the lobbyists that keep throwing millions at our reps, we might actually get some representation, because right now, I don't feel like ANYONE is representing me, and haven't for many years now...They are repping the drug co.s, the oil corps. and every other biz, but not me...gotta get all the money out of campaigning also....each person running gets 100 grand and that's it...we should not be electing the ones that raise the most cash for a campaign, cuz it shouldn't be about the money! That's all it's about now...get elected, ok... " Now who has the most money to give me, so I can represent that entity" These guys are supposed to represent PEOPLE!!! Not corporations! Thank you for reading...DAM!, now I gotta go get baked again....TANK steps down off the soap box....

Obama's Popularity Meltdown
Just wanted to make a courtesy post for those not privy to the current state of my sanity and the current stalled state of the discussion between Emmie and myself. I was just throwing shit around with no rhyme nor reason, no discussion involved. Emmie and myself may pick up on the discussion in a minute, but right now just trying to get my head straight. Just don't want anyone looking at me like I am incapable of responding to discussion like some simpleton who just spams the political forums without actually participating in something that even loosely resembles discussion or debate.
But hell, I did promise meltdowns didn't I?

There is an off switch on that tv box you know... don't let it give you a stroke.
So, I get it that you are angry. So are a lot of other people... on both sides of this issue. What it takes to resolve something like this is for cool heads to get together and discuss and work out differences. Displays of emotion, insults... none of this helps. So, back to the issue at the top of this thread... Obama's popularity is melting down... it can't be denied... the numbers don't lie. So what can the Dems do to fix this? Is it the end of the party as some claim, or is there something we are missing here? Can all this somehow be blamed on Bush or Fox News in order to buck up popular support?
As the great Tip O'Neil said, "All politics are local." It's all about the economy. People vote with this in mind. If the President can't fix it in the next 2 years, he loses his job... just like the CEO of a company who can not turn a profit. So get angry if you want, but please direct it at the right people... those who are mis-managing the finances of this country. And again, back to the point of the thread, and a very interesting choice of words I might add in light of current events, yes, Obama's popularity is certainly melting down.
And really, if you truly feel that all politicians are the same and that no matter who we elect, it all is going to be the same, I really feel sorry for you. Have you never had a friend or a relative who ran for office because they wanted to make a difference? Do you flat out reject that people like that can and do exist? Yes, we can see many things that show us that government tends to be corrupt, but upon analysis it turns out that the mistakes made can be traced to a few powerful people. People who used their time in the limelight to bolster their own positions and bank accounts. Now we see the other effect that comes from such abuses of power, the repercussions of the ballot box. It is coming. The result won't be perfect, it never is. But it will be different, adjustments will be made and the system will survive.

Real Housewives of Die Already... A reflection on how I feel about the particular demographic portrayed and entertained by such forms of entertainment.

Dang Redlocks... discuss the topic at hand... not the people doing the discussing. A personal attack has no place in a political discussion.

That one went right past my poor feeble female brain.

Perfect example. Rather suckle from the teet of a woman and post complete gibberish on the internet than actually do something with their lives. When will some people learn, their opinions don't matter because they don't matter. Completely and utterly inconsequential. Seems the loudest voices are the ones with the least to offer, have to applaud some people for their consistent idiocy though.
