The interesting thing is how fast our system of checks and balances stepped in to stop the Obama train before it really caused some catastrophic damage. Now, because of the quick about face by the electorate, we have a rolling back of policies and gridlock in the congress. This is how the system was designed to work and it is amazing how clearly the founding fathers saw the danger of a one party rule and how to protect us from the resulting socialism if it occurred.
The next election should get the system working again and like it or not, we will most likely head into another decade long Republican party run in retaliation to this one term failed President. The GOP is already in control of the purse strings, and they are going after the real problems as they see them, the liberal press headed by its national arm, NPR/APR and stopping the out of control spending spree initiated by a congress set free of checks and balances for a short period of time.
I can't even listen to Mr. Obama speak any more. I find myself yelling at the tv or the radio, in a fury watching the President... the most powerful man on the planet, pandering to special interest and posing for the cameras. He does this almost daily as he gives more speeches than any other sitting president ever thought about giving... all the time, saying nothing important... having no plan.
It will be over soon. I still have hope that we can fix this. Yes we can!

Obama's Popularity Meltdown
I feel there's a revolution coming...I hope it's peaceful and takes place in the Capital building with some reps that actually rep, but I think the general public has seen that some change (his big catch all word!) is not always for the better...hopefully this will force those that DO want to get re-elected to pay attention to the people and not just the billion dollar corporations...yep, Redlocks...we ain't what we used to be right now, but watch out! We dam sure can be again if the voters will stop being so apathetic! I think this age of the Net and smartphones will make a difference...I have an app on my phone that has every US rep, email addy, and office address, and let's me watch each bill and see instantly how each voted...I can fire off an email in to any one of them, or all of them, in a matter of seconds now! I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one doing this...I used to be pro-overgrow the world with this weed, and still am, but now I'm pro-overwhelm the idiots with common sense emails...LOL! BTW, I am descended from Thomas Paine, one of the original rebels, who penned "Common Sense" a few hundred years ago...Just stand back at a safe distance and watch me work!

I'm down with some revolution, but more of the maumau flavor of revolution than what you're lookin for
Chances are there is going to be a "revolution" of sorts within the capital building, but I have zero faith it will bring about anything resembling positive change.
As far as the people of this country, they are too weak and cowardly to ever give up the comfort of Burger King and Real Housewives of Die Already. Revolution requires sacrifice, and Americans rather take than give. That last comment goes for the bipartisan shytstem also. The petty squabbling and division of the American Government only proves how selfish and ignorant politicians are. Answer me this, how the fuck is good going to come out of hate? Might have worked in the past with our founding knuckle dragging fathers; with all the Murder, robbery, rape, death, war and destruction this country was made "great" by, but these are far, far different times.

This must be such a tear jerker for Obama considering his pastor of 20 YEARS is cozy with the Ghaddafi family. Poor Rev Wrights chickens have come hooooome......to roost. Lol.
And where are all the anti-war protests? The astroturfers and paid unions spend all their 'change' in Madison?imp:

And if your gonna protest the capital, leave the ignorant Hitler and Nazi signs at home, it clearly does not help your cause.

Perfect example. Rather suckle from the teet of a woman and post complete gibberish on the internet than actually do something with their lives. When will some people learn, their opinions don't matter because they don't matter. Completely and utterly inconsequential. Seems the loudest voices are the ones with the least to offer, have to applaud some people for their consistent idiocy though.

That one went right past my poor feeble female brain.

Real Housewives of Die Already... A reflection on how I feel about the particular demographic portrayed and entertained by such forms of entertainment.
