lol....my blacklight never goes off...hope you can't get cancer from a blacklight (you can from just about everything these days) because i'll certainly have it.....i've had this black light for about 2 years now (i run them down quick usually this one's lasted awhile) i justleave it on 24/7 not too bright to sleep with but i can still clearly see everything in my room...and that helps when you have a cluttered room...
