    Help with Water PH ...

Im using soil as my medium , would 7.5 PH be good enough for my ladies ? I understand that you need around 6.3-6.8 or so ... just wondering if 7.5 would hurt anything.

    Thanks for the help

It won't hurt some things... but it will hurt your plants. The nutrients ride on the water. At 6.3-6.8 your plants can absorb the nutrients they need. Outside of that range, you starve your plant.

Thanks , would it make any difference if my runoff is at that PH or do i need to have the water PH'd before it goes into my medium.

this is what i've read and i've read information on like 8 different forums.
you have to check the ph level of the dirt and adjust the water so that after you water, your dirt is betwe 6.3 and 6.8

Thats what i was thinking , because ive been watering with 7.5 this whole grow (In week 5 of flower now) and they have been okay ... but for some reason i decided to test my PH and it was indeed 7.5 but the runoff its around 6.5.

So i was confused if i had to adjust my PH before watering.

Thanks for all the info everyone.
