Can you cut a hole in the top of it? If so, go get a 4,5 or 6" axial fan and mount it to the top so the airflow is exhausted from the space....you may or may not want to install some duct work in the same size as the fan to move the warm exhaust air away from the grow space...it should be a simple two wire, possibly 3 wire connection....black to black, white to white, and green is the ground wire. If both wires on the fan are black, it doesn't matter which one goes to white or black, but green is ALWAYS ground!...hope this helps!

My axial fans are just two wire tho, and grounded thru the frame of the fan itself. You may have to make your own ground wire and attach it to the frame of the fan. And it should be grounded! That space should work well if you can control the heat issues, and get plenty of fresh air to it! Good Luck!

O Sorry...I thought you WANTED to cut a hole in it...LOL! Yea, that's all I do to regulate temps is how far I open the door and which speed I put the fan on....how big a light you planning on using?

400 watter! For sure...:jointsmile: How bout a T5. You'd get great results with a mix of bulbs in the fixture.

O yea...What Ga said...400 all the way for great stuff! I use one in a 4'x5' closet...one fan, too, and just open the door...consistently excellent results!

400 for that space is great. if you are concerned about the air/temp exchange doing done you should make a hole for the exhaust fan vent. considering it is a rental maybe you should look into a 180watt led grow it. it works just the same as hps but throws out less heat which = less head in the grow space = less opening of the doors. and you can have it closer to the plants without causing burnt leaves. if your rental includes free electricity the landlord will see how much elecriticity is being used and could have cops bother you. just giving a few insights
