Your right I don't want to drown my plant, which is why I'm a little confussed about how the flushing is done. If its is over several days or all at once? My plant is very small but it is already trying to start the flowering stage. I figured out that this was because of my light cycle. I also was using a 26W halogen light that = about 1700watts. I was told this was way to low so I upgraded to a 42W that = about 2800watts. Now I want to do a flush to drain out some of the nutes that are in my poor choice of soil but I still haven't figured out the how to enough to feel comfortable doing this. Could you please give me a step by step to doing this? Oh and I'm growing in an indoor closet. I transplanted into a 5gl bucket 2 days ago, this is when the burning happened Apparently the buck is WAY to BIG for my little size plant.
if its mg thats burning you then remove the entire package. dirt roots and all. set it in a tray and remove excess dirt then remove from tray and water your dirt and allow free erosion until it improves if at all. halogens are a poor light scource halides good, hps good for flowering.
