A lot of times when growing in soil you can develop hotspots from not watering the soil correctly. If you burned them that bad, I would suggest a real flush which would take 60-80 liters of water to clear the soil. When you water, ensure you have a good runoff coming from the bottom of your pots. 2 liters of water in an 18 liter container is not enough. The nutes will set up high in the soil and when you gave it a "good flush" you did nothing but push the nutes sitting high in the pot straight to the bottom and cooked the plant.

    Hi

I thought as much , what an idiot i am !! would it be ok you think just to add water for a week or so or you think that would make things worse and just do a flush again??

You need to change your watering schedule bud.

Are you saying it's too much?
I have a single plant in soil. I water it every week or so, once the soil dries enough and starts to seperate from the container.
What are you thoughts on this method?

Here is the way you water,water,feed..

You first water.. Then the next day you pick up the pot and feel the weight. Second day you pick up the pot again to feel the weight. When it's light you'd water again. Then feed, following the same procedure and repeat the process, throughout the grow.Buff up while ya liftin'..

my thoughts are the build up of nutes caught up with you. you can feed every watering just not at full strength. if you do that its ok to just feed water about every three waterings (assuming your ph is correct and you dont have salt build up.) this way you learn what they can take.

ACTUALLY, I think the flush washed out buffers and set off an imbalance and there is lockout. Rewater with balanced nutrient solution.

14 liters of water in the past 7 days?

You'll need to figure-out proper watering quantities and frequency.

First-off, you'll need to figure-out pot capacity per watering. Slowly add properly ph'd water, and watch for runoff. Once you see a SLIGHT trickle, the ammount you just put in is about the ammount you need for each watering. In a 4 1/2 gallon (18 liters or so) pot, that should be somewhere around 1/2 gallon. (2 liters) You can either practice on your plant(s), or practice on a pot of old soil.

Next, you need to know how long till the soil dries before needing more water. Cannabis prefers (demands) a wet-dry cycle, but do not let the soil completely dry-out. It will cause problems with absorption if habitually dried-out, and will cause root rot if habitually overwatered.

Next, check online for a weekly feeding schedule for your nutrients. Keeping in mind how much water is needed for a SLIGHT trickle...mix and add enough to ALMOST get a trickle. If 2 liters got you a slight trickle, give 1.75 liters of nutrient solution. (or so)

Since feeding is the most important, feed once a week and water inbetween if and when necessary. Again...allow the soil to dry between waterings and feedings. If soil is dry the day before a feeding day...just give a 'booster' splash of properly ph'd water to tide them over till feeding. (do not give a full watering the day before a feeding day)

18 liter pots should keep the soil moist for a couple or few days depending on the size of the plant and your ambient growroom conditions, and strength of the fans you're using. Allow ample time for soil to dry after flushes, which totally saturate the medium. (the soil) This means it'll stay moister, longer.

Two or three times the pot volume for flushes. If you flush on a feeding day, have your nutrients mixed, and add it as the last bit of the flush. This allows you to wait till dry before watering rather than having to wait till dry for a feeding.
