On thursday I bought I split an 1/2 oz. with a friend, it turned out to be easily the best stuff I've ever smoked. This just enhances the tragedy about to unfold. Last night two friends of mine are supposed to be coming over but they're taking their time so I decide to light a bowl in my brand new bong. In the end myt friend's never show up and I get very high, so high, in fact, that I left my bong (with a fresh bowl) out on my desk the whole night. How in the fuck could I be so stupid, right? You're right. Anyway, I'm woken up by my father this morning and he somehow doesn't notice the bong (I still haven't remembered I left it out), so he leaves and I fall back asleep. The second time though he does notice and I end up losing a 1/4 of the best bud I've ever smoked and my new bong. I then get told how I must be depressed and addicted to it, how it causes a variety of psychotic disorders, how I must be 'deep into drugs' since I'm smoking the bud and not sun leavs (what the fuck?), etc. And everytime I tried to correct this kind of thing I was met with "Oh yes, that's right, you know everything and I'm always wrong". It was like arguing with a 4th grader.

thats to bad man, i had a similar experience where i left a glass pipe on my bedside table for 2 weeks and couldnt find it. when my parents found it i just stole it back though, and they ahvnt done anything about it.

i hate parents like that.....they get it stuck in their head that weed is as bad as every other drug and that it leads your life no where. tell him to read up on it....AND WTF IS SUN LEAVES?!?!??! i'm assuming he thinks your an addict (well in his mind as bad as a crack head prolly) because you smoke the bud....(what everyone smokes so WTH!) and not the leaves of the plant left out in the sun. and then crumbled....try and tell him to read up on it first....and causes psychotic disorders? I USE IT TO SELF MEDICATE MINE! it helps depression among many others...doesn't cause it...of course unless a cop confiscates your newly bout QP. that would make me depressed forever

I told them the bud is the part you smoke, period. I told them that at most marijuana may reveal underlying schizophrenia (and other such disorders) but that it's not a real concern for the vast majority of people. I told them that it was in no way addicitive and that I periodically abstain and feel fine and that I've stopped drinking and started eating more because of it (My father has crohn's disease and I've been showing symptoms [i.e. weightloss]), etc., etc. I urged them to smoke the rest of my stash or make some canabutter so they would have a better understanding. That was brushed off. They said they don't want me involved in with 'the drug sub-culture', by which they mean dealers. I told them that's why they should let me grow my own and that if they were serious about avoiding products that are connected to things they find abhorent they would have to stop consuming just about every product on the market. Their only valid objections were ones created by the fact that it is prohibted. I'm afraid the irony was lost on them, however.

i was smoking a spliff in my garden the other day my dad walks past takes the joint out my hand and just chrushes it with his foot. he was lucky it was only the roach and i was stoned.
