Thanks for stopping in and shedding some light on the situation. And manning up and starting with an apology was refreshing to say the least. Before this incident I was fairly confident that the work you folks were doing was going to be a very positive thing for the community. After what I heard happened at the expo and then the events that have unfolded online I was sure that work would be interrupted if not halted completely. I was very disappointed. But hearing now that a march issue is on the way and other events are scheduled, there is hope again. In the end, the legal battle is nothing more than 4 peoples PERSONAL problems, because it's the community that will be this entities judge, jury and if need be executioner.

Thank You. Again we deeply regret any and all of the negative consequences of this dilemma. Our original mission with the 1000 Watts project was to represent not only Rhode Island but the entire fledgling MMJ movement here on the east coast. Though at times a little embarassing, we are confident that the events that have brought a little negative attention also present an opportunity for not only 1000 Watts but also for the community to be steadfast in their beliefs and have faith in that what is right will ultimately prevail. Lastly we cannot wait for the release of our newest issue coming out next week and we are hoping to AT LEAST double the size of the magazine for our April 4/20 issue.

At this time, 1000 Watts Publications (1000watts-online.com) would like to issue a formal apology to all MM Community members. Our behavior was the epitome of unprofessional and petty at the Maine Medical Marijuana Expo. Initially, 1000 Watts Publications had opted to withhold from issuing any formal statements in regard to the dispute with 1000 Watts LLC pending the results of our initial court date on March 8th, 2011, which is why an apology was not issued earlier. This will likely be the last post on a public forum from 1000 Watts Publications regarding this matter, as we would like to let the facts speak for themselves in court rather than take our dispute into the community (again).

The dispute between both companies is of a personal nature and had no place in Maine. Again, please accept our sincerest of apologies, and remember we are all on the same side.

I found a similar discussion between these pasties on rollitup so I figured since some of the parties involved are actually commenting in that thread and when you look at the dates of those comments you clearly see that both sides issued an apology while still continuing to act like children.

both sides and their cronies are WRONG. Mr. Stone, Mr. Reyes and all your hanger-on scabs the rhode island community sees through both of you and we have a news flash for you. This isn't california and this isn't colorado and its not even michigan where half of you come from. This is our state and we decide who does business here and who advocates our views. Neither of your magazines are welcome here and neither will be distributed here. You see the great thing about a free magazine is that they can all be collected by a few people and then publicly burned. I have already spoken to a few store owners of the locations you deliver to and they have agreed to save all those precious copies of your mag just for us.

The only solution I see to this issue can be nothing short of replacing your entire board of directors with only rhode island residents who have resided in this state PRIOR to the enactment of the medical marijuana laws. It's amazing what one can accomplish in this tiny state. You've been served, Have a great day!
