Asking landlord about indoor medical grow?

Hey I have been wondering whats the best "word usage" when asking your landlord about growing your meds indoor or outdoor?

not that I would recommend growing in a rental, but why would you tell ANYONE ??? Even if it's not a legal issue for you, telling him sets you up to be ripped off by anyone the landlord happens to mention it to. And believe me, he will tell. Each person he tells makes your problem that much worse. This is of course assuming that the landlord is not one of those anti medial marijuana freaks. If he is, I hope you have a new place to move to. Also, any good landlord would start thinking about lights and electricity use and water... he might want a huge deposit just in case you set the place on fire even if he was cool with it, or maybe a percentage of your crop. I guess what I am getting at here is WHY would the landlord have a need to know this? Do not tell anyone. Ever.
