Asking landlord about indoor medical grow?
i did ask and there really isnt a good way to ask but if you insist on doing it then make sure you explain that you have a LEGITIMATE reason (u do have one right?) and hope for the best. The reason I did it is because I can not afford to lose my place I am disabled and havent had a job where i collect a check for 3 years. And just to kinda feel out there thought on it because its not a small complex, there are 303 apts here. I was told that because of FEDERAL law one of my neighbors could sue them because there was "ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES" going on here if they smelled it or something (this was the words that I was told second hand from the complex's lawyer to the manger of where I live, to me). It was then implied that QUOTE "it isnt like someone is going to come in and check your apt everyday, get it" END QUOTE
So I guess the moral is... do what u think is best, THE POLICE OF CA WILL NOT EVICT SOMEBODY FOR HAVING ONE PLANT. 99% guaranteed. I have talked to renters in the area that have tenants that just have houses rented out that people are using for grow houses only, and he cant legally evict them. the cops wont do anything about it.
