my internet is a pay&go dongle thingy not regested at my add
also just done a ip location checker via google and it reckons i live in derby
well thats completely wrong try about 200mi the other way
to find my location would be like fining a needle in a hay stack hehehehe

for those that have a regested ip add you can download a ip address changer from google and then can be changed any time you want ...keeps them on there toes

How accurate is GeoLocation?

Geolocation in general is the practice of determining the physical, real world location of a person, device or subject matter using digital information processed through the Internet or other electronic means of communication.

A growing trend in geolocation is deriving the city, ZIP code or region from which a person is or has connected to the World Wide Web by using their device's IP address or that of a wireless access points, such as those offered by coffee houses.

Another form of geolocation involves utilizing the exact location featured in photo or video content based on longitude and latitude coordinates attached digitally to the media file manually or by GPS-enabled cameras.

Determining the nation of an Internet user based on his or her IP address is relatively simple and accurate (95%-99% percent) because a country name is required information when an IP range is allocated and IP registrars supply that information for free.

Determining the physical location down to a city or ZIP code, however, is more difficult and less accurate because there is no official source for the information, users sometimes share IP addresses and Internet service providers often base IP addresses in a city where the company is basing operations.

Accuracy rates on deriving a city from an IP address fluctuate between 50 and 80 percent, according to DNS Stuff, a Massachusetts-based DNS and networking tools firm.

Even when not accurate, though, geolocation can place users in a bordering or nearby city, which may be good enough for the entity seeking the information. This happens because a common method for geolocating a device is referencing its IP address against similar IP addresses with already known locations.

Commercial geolocation service providers are continually discovering and developing new ways to improve their information databases, and therefore their accuracy, such as purchasing or bartering IP location data from ISPs and or websites on which users enter a city or ZIP when registering or ordering products.

ok i loved your first post but this is bollocks
unless its changing the IP every 10min automaticly you are more or less allright..
the ones you download free and you dont do montly payment(THATS WHAT IM USING COS I LOVE PIRACY) you are pretty much screwd if they really wanna get you...
NB you can download prog free from hackers.com its called ip tracker or smthing like this and it will get your ip(REAL ONE),and it will get it quit fast...
and location wise it it will be +-100meters from your modem .


i made plenty of research bout that some time ago when i was in a deep.........
you can double check that info any time...

for them to find my exact location with me using a pay&go dongle i feel is impossible as it could be any one of my neighbers as you say +/-100 meters unless you have a monthly contract with name address etc i wouldnt worrie

what are we all worrying for anyways as some one said before there so many site/ forums with this sort of content and the same ppl been members for years with no problems

im good..i think.going for a holidays next week and im shiting myself cos all my cloths smells like weed or hash.and i have major grow coming up with my friend..he has 6500kw diesel generator so i need to save up a lot to get all what we need.
is it just mee or this forum is still quit quiet?

about the generator ,i made plenty of research,and its should work out.my mates is coming on saturday and he will add few things so that when eva fans and extra lights are kicking in that the wattage dont change cos otherwise i gonna blow the bulbs or ballast..but i know him for long time and he is total genius with things like that=) and the best thing is that we are getting red diesel for only 2e for 10gallons..and its not atered down or anything...good if you know people from customs
