1: Is there a specific way to prepare the soil for planting? (Eg. dig up all the grass X feet around your seed)

2: Is planting on a hill a good thing or a bad thing?

3: I live in Northern IL. What time is best to try planting a seed? (bagseed)

Thanks for the help!

Try to find a spot that cant be spotted from above too. I would start your plants early for better survival rate and taking soil to add to your hole is going to give your plant a way better chance of getting big. Gotta get rid of all grass and weeds, it will steal the water and food from your girls. Never plant all of your plants together. Plant when last frost of the year, may 15 if your lucky. Try to give it as much direct light as possible, hill or not.

If you plant just seeds, you will get nothing. You must start them in small pots asap and plant at 2'. Number one rule, tell no one or you will get ripped.
