Longer the branch = more buds right?

I have a plant that is about a foot tall. About a month and 3 weeks old. Nice female pre-flowers. She dosn't really have long branches like i am use to so i would think there wouldn't be that much bud if i induced flowering. The first month she was only 2 in. but after a transplant she started going good. Where the pre flowers are the stems are maybe an inch so i would think i should wait until they get longer. I cut my other plant and she has 2 branches in a v shape about 3 in. each. Do i just top the plant like i did the other? I have pics if som1 responds. Please respond. lol:thumbsup:

yep not always the case if you have a short branch im sure the buds will just be fatter....longer branches slimmer longer buds
my op from plants ive seen.... but really all plants react & grow differently as ive found out... im sure the plant will only produce as much bud as it can or as it was ment to

if the strain the seed came from was prone to low yield then no matter how lanky you get it it can only produce what it can
