I germinated 2 what I hoped would be male seeds, one female, one male, so I got at least one, and will be able to do my next experiments. But 50% is not a good means of telling, much less only 2 seeds.
WashougalWonder Reviewed by WashougalWonder on . UPDATE to Early Female ID/Seed influence Well I have put about a year into these theories now. The one factor that does concern me is that this has not been tested on a large scale yet, maybe soon. I have found some species that do not show red at all in either male or female at any time. I have found that the round/oval seed bottoms is also not a for sure means of femininity. THEREFORE, I want to go on the record as stating that my theories are not 100%, they apparently are generalities that work with many species, but not Rating: 5
