Sure, ck out some grows with DWC...(Deep water culture or Does What dirt Can't) if you have access to 5 gal plastic buckets, like drywall mud comes in, it's not so hard to do, but it IS much different than growing in dirt, so read read read about it first...BUT, also Hydro is much less forgiving than dirt, a mistake can kill them all in a matter of hours....I would stick with dirt while you get and learn the DWC stuff...it may take a few failures to get it right and if ya got dirt going too, you shouldn't run out of meds...Hydro takes much more personal monitoring (and testing equipment) than dirt too, so make sure you can afford it, and be there to monitor things every day! Dirt I can leave for up to 3 days and it will be ok. Also mastering dirt first will make you better able to read the plants and react correctly when things go wrong in hydro...and they will, at first! Make a plan, get the needed stuff, and research it well and you should be fine.
