The chances that planet Earth is the only planet with life are really, really small IMHO. I also believe that any life forms that mastered traveling through space between planets would have no interest in planet Earth and it's inhabitants. Humans are the top of the food chain and we are nowhere near traveling those kind of distances much less our own back yard.
