Bear in mind that the pot needs to be appropriate for the size and condition of the plant. For example: You wouldn't put a seedling in a big pot because the soil at the bottom will become sewerage and disgusting because it'll always be wet!

So work your way up from a small pot and observe how your plant looks as to whether it appears to be drooping the leaves. I usually change the pot once i see that the leaves are still droopy in full sunlight after I've watered them.
