Will I be charged?

On 12-22-10 my gf called a mental health clinic and told them she was thinking of commiting suicide. They sent a officer to the house to pick her up. When i came home there were several officers searching the house. They told me they were making sure no one else was ther and found a grow. They took everything and I have not heard any thing since. Any one have an idea what could be going on or if they will charge me it has been over 8 weeks.

Call a lawyer...it depends and get proper legal advice. Possibly not.....but you never know. the consultation is probably free, and you'd get his fee if you will need him. Forearmed is forewarned. :thumbsup:

for example, I have a legal situation facing me. I will be making an appointment and contacting the court next week. I will require a PD most likely, no problem. I will outline my circumstances and go from there. I have my thoughts....but its the lawyer that gets you through the maze. I feel it will turn out well....but still it remains to be seen, and I will only take licensed attorney's legal advice. :thumbsup:

Depends on what state your in on what the seriousness is, for example:

State of Alaska gives probation if that for cannabis grows in the home...

A state would help assist in locating a list of expert lawyering to offer...

Just a thought!!

This seems it would imply that a person from an agency without jurisdiction to remove your grow.. as seizure is state statutory related... ONLY LEO can do this..

2ndly a snake in the grass is never good to have around... i.e. some one with an intent to cause you harm... or was her vulnerable condition used to call a higher authority to gain access?

1st one being a 4th amendment issue (if in the U.S.A)

2nd one being, authority of law

3rd one being, authority to allow access... was she on a rental agreement or a lease to say the police can come in and take the grow... or was this your place not hers.

It was the county sheriiff who was searching. I live in a small county so the mental health agency askd the sheriff to check on her. And yes I have seen her I broke up with her after all this bs. She didn't now this stuff was in the house and offered to pay for a lawyer so I think she was just tryn to get help and didn't thinks the cops would show or go thru the house.

I was just on the norml site. in OH. cultivation under 100g is a misdemeanor with a fine. Penalties go up from there. They weigh the WHOLE plant though, stem. root ball, everything. Check it out yourself.

Sad to hear yual broke up for this. Is it just because she needed the help and openned the door for it and got yual caught? First she be entitled to help ifin she be on a melt down and needed it and yual were not there. She be alive and this be her gaul dont think it be to get yual caught so be little easy on her dont sound like she be tryin to get yual caught. Be lookin into the good pilgrem above be goin outa his/her way to search the laws in yur area fur ya and see what yual got. Ifin yual be one who dont care bout nothin and broke up with her cause yur grow mean more to yual then yur love then throw her to the wolves and blame it on her and say it was hers cause thats yur idea yual be workin with anyways not nice but it be what yual be thinkin an easy way out and guess what will work too!!! Yup play it right and yur scott free but just please member one thing ifin yual do this pilgrem kinda like takin a pack mule through an ancient indian barrial ground and makin lots of noice the karma spirits be herein ya and be comin to claim some sole in good time. Yhey always do.

I am not sure that that is where he was going with it BWD but I do find it rather strange that its been this long and they didnt say anything to you about it... I would think that if there was anything that was going to happen to you it would have already happened or you would have been taken in that day as well.. I mean when you get a speeding ticket, they dont send you a ticket in the mail, they give it to you on site. know what I mean? This is why I am thinking that they just took it and discarded it. lol or kept it for themselves :P. If I missed something and am off track then please disregard this. what part of ohio if you dont mind me asking? I know a few people who grow out in the kettering centerville area..
