Disappearing buds/ plants dying

Please help, only have 2-3 weeks left of flower and the buds have started do disappear or perhaps the plants are dying im not sure. They were getting fed every 2nd day but ran out of nutrient so they went a day over. The plants were not cropped as it was a first grow and are tall so budding isnt huge. The plant which had the best bud has started sprouting again multiple branches at the bottom of them stem and bud is disappearing instead of growing.... why is this?

Fill out the trouble shooting form. That helps big time other wise everybody will be guessing. But for now the first thing that comes to mind is tommato worms. They will eat your buds from the inside out. Nasty fuckers

its not as easy as just getting a light, seeds, tent, nutrient
big buds are problem, should i have cropped? is that my first mistake, the plants are huge... 6 feet :-/
