I bought a loop as this is my first grow. I am not sure if these buds are ready to harvest. This an auto strain that was started Nov 16. Any ideas? The pics below were takin with my shitty Iphone camera under 30X illumination from my loupe.

if the hairs are around 85% and the trichomes are cloudy with a few ambers then its time to harvest.
due you have a decent 20x plus magnifier or microscope?

maybe its me but it looks like there are seeds in your buds, and its probably me. but let me know when you harvest. good luck. i haven't started my first grow, but i'm getting ready. we're trying to decided where to put it and how big to build it. when we decided, i will start a grow log and post pictures.

Hairs (pistils) have nothing to do with overall maturity and should not be used as an indicator of time to harvest. Pistils (a tube that catches and carries the pollen to the embryo) get bent, broken, crushed, clogged, but this happens throughout the flowering process.
