I wouldn't mind seeing some of those critters though I am not to excited at seeing any wounds. So far I have never been bitten by any real wild animals. Got bit by gopher snakes, had a squirrel run up my arm when I was trying to kill him with a shovel and had two lizzards run up my pants leg on different occasions.

I always have one or two dogs with me so I don't get snuck up on. One is real crazy and will never start a fight but will always finish it. She can keep up with deer running through the woods. Not sure what would happen if a bear, mountain lion or boar came along. I usually have a gun not far away.

Looks like we will have a nice spring with plenty of rain and snow for the water supply from this winter. It helps my situation since I water with spring water. It will also increase the numer of critters in my woods and the surrounding national forest. There will be a particular time in the morning during spring that it seems like every bird in the forest is calling at once. It just lasts a few weeks at that decibel level but I really look forward to those mornings.
