The Liberty Dollar (ALD) was a private currency produced in the United States. The currency was embodied in minted metal rounds not dissimilar to a coin, gold and silver certificates and electronic currency (eLD). ALD certificates are warehouse receipts for real gold and silver formerly owned by ALD certificate holders. The metal was warehoused at Sunshine Minting in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho prior to a November 2007 raid by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Secret Service.[1] Until July 2009, the Liberty Dollar was distributed by Liberty Services (formerly known as NORFED), based in Evansville, Indiana. It was created by Bernard von NotHaus, the co-founder of the Royal Hawaiian Mint Company.[2] In May 2009, von NotHaus and others were charged with federal crimes in connection with the Liberty Dollar and, on July 31, 2009, von NotHaus announced that he had closed the Liberty Dollar operation, pending resolution of the criminal charges.[3"And we never failed to fail...it was the easiest thing to do.

Thats private currency just like the Federal Reserve currency its unconstitutional. To be legal it has to be government currency and to be completely constitutional it has to be physical gold or silver, not fiat currency. But we got suckered in 1913. president Wilson got bought off and then later agreed it was the biggest mistake he ever made. And the truth is even in a capitalist society we don't need currency, barter works fine. And it can be used to avoid taxes which works out pretty well for companies.
I would prefer that we just leave the land of greed and move on to a more fair and equitable system of wealth distribution. Repubs like to think that, thats what government programs are doing, redistributing wealth to the poorest. But in fact if you just look at the numbers the exact opposite is true. With capitalism
wealth will naturally occur to the top 1% which is what we're seeing now. Its the only the level of society that is seeing an increase of wealth.

... they are not any of my peers of my community, they are peers of another foreign country with no voting rights.. "
that's just bigoted. We are all earthlings and breathe the same air and drink the same water....it's time to quit pissing on each other and rise up until everyone is fed, clothed, sheltered, educated, and their health is cared for....EVERYONE!
Were YOU living in mexico or quatamala or lebanon and could find a way HERE, to the home of the free and the land of the brave...whatever it took....you'd do it, and so would i. I still believe in the "send me your huddled masses yearning to be free..." and welcome the illegals...the freedom loving masses yearning.... and I hope they find a way to "make it" here despite our gross and aggressive bigotry and dislikes and fears....I know that because they're being here we're all stronger, and the sooner we can find the grace to STAND together as humans, the better our lots in life will be.
open your heart and dance away from the fears....
FREE THE PLANT!

That's like having another country punishing americans, only here in our courts... there is no process for it.. absolutely none.
Nothing more than pointing this out.... I was the 1st born U.S. citizen in my family my dear... all other was foreign land born.
So no bigot my dear.. just pointing out court system process which is not likely fair to all..
Example: our voting process allowed dead people and dogs to vote for the governor of wa. some years back... NO PROCESS WAS ALLOWED BUT, IT HAPPENED.
Just the facts mam, just the facts.. not FEAR !!!
Did you understand that our state prosecuting authority has acknoledged that cannabis is not the type of substance considered illegal? as it is an HERB.
Are we freeing an HERB, just to have them come back and change their tune... cause once we repeal this law.. that interpretation goes out the window...
ONLY THE STATE PROSECUTING AUTHORITY MAY FILE CHARGES FOR CRIMINAL ACTS IN COURT... IF HE SAYS IT'S AN HERB AND NOT A SUBSTANCE OF THE TYPE WHICH IS ILLEGAL..WE SCREW OURSELVES BY VOTING IN A REPEAL OF THE NOT ILLEGAL HERB, TO A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WHICH NO-ONE CAN POSSES.
HELP ME KEEP OUR PLANT FREE AS IT IS NOW...

james, you are arguing needlessly. please stop it. you have ONE view of things, and it is yours. You do not understand enough of the larger systems at play in the world, and your limited view is confounding your understanding. you have some of the best bits, backward. the best thing you can do is shut up and read, listen, think...keep your ideas to yourself until you have a larger understanding and a willing audience. you spew, dude! its not nice. please stop it.
ok, now i really NEED to medicate!

in addition to students on college campuses, i think old folk's homes is a perfect place to circulate the sensible wa petititon; many such homes facilitate their patients' voting....but a signatures from a couple hundred thousand old folks (retirement villages, independent living centers, all of them)...is a way for them to CARRY the initiative without even voting...they'll love it! .so would the association of old folks care giving, etc.....
can the incarcerated sign initiatives?
and farmers, and farm workers...get them signed up at the farmers' market and county fairs and such, stock sales, graineries, etc. ...the ag community is huge and they're all into free plants, donchaknow......
there are lots of subpopulations that can have a HUGE impact with just the swipe of a pen on a petition...it is a lovely, lovely day.

There are a couple of people setting up presentations for the retirement communities, I believe. There are also folks over on the east side talking with farmers, and there is some interest.
I also picture a small table, with a box of Hempseed Granola, another of hempseed milk, the petition carrier wearing a hemp shirt or blouse, and maybe some info on making fuel and cars from hemp. We need the vote of women the age of mother's and grandmother's. Women are tactile, they like to feel, see, taste or whatever sense, when they are shopping.
They are also known to control the vote in the family, meaning a large percent of their spouses vote the same as they do. I know mine does. We have some great ideas, and some are already being put into place, but don't be shy. Sign up at www.sensiblewashington.org It's easy, just click the 'volunteerHQ' tab to get started. You can start posting your ideas as soon as you sign up!
