Not too far in the future, 2025, but even more recently Californian's came within 4% of voting to legalize marijuana for adults. That will happen eventually. Will we see all 50 states marijuana friendly? Possibly, but not without major changes overall to old anti-nature beliefs. A number of social anomaly such as Facebook and MySpace are bridging the gaps between beliefs. In under 15 years an herbal lounge in many cities, with numerous states legalizing marijuana for adults, might soon replace alcohol in terms of social entertainment or spiritual fulfillment. The 1st legalized states will see a full line of edibles, clothing, decorum, tools... a hippy movement like no other.

By these timelines what can we expect? Is there a future for marijuana? Or has the hippy takeover train already left the station?
