Brothers and Sisters,

We must all raise our voices and be heard. In this era of American democracy, an old-fashioned phone call represents the voices of five to ten constituents. The one person taking the time to call about an issue means there are countless other lazy, a-politicos that will yell at the television or computer screen... and do little else.

Click here to find out who your RI state representatives are.

Call their offices today! You want your state representative and senator in the general assembly. They are listed underneath the attorney general. Be polite, courteous, and informative. Explain, gently, why sick patients and the people who donate time/energy to helping them are being wrongly portrayed and generalized in the press and in such legislation. Say thank you for your time.

Of course, you will only be talking to administrative assistant. However, they keep track of every phone call. That is where it counts.

This article came out last night, and our legislators need blowback from the general public today. Then, organized assembly--such as through RIPAC--can carry the message through.

Please, my fellows. We have to work to keep this burgeoning program safe for all of us. Two five minute phone calls can really help all of you in the long run.

Thanks for listening.
