Heavy Buds Weak Stalks?
Well this is going on to be my 4th successful harvest here in the next two weeks. Yesterday two of them started to become top heavy and I just figured they would pick themselves up towards the light. Well I should of known better but when I checked on them today, they were bent over even more now that im getting scared if they go anymore it'll break their stems. Now that my story is done time for my question, should I just baby them and tie them up or let them try to survive on their own?

Tie 'em up! Your plants feel the stress of the buds exceeding the branches weight capacity. So when you tie them up, instead of using energy to keep the bud up, energy will be used to develop bigger buds. If you let them try to survive on their own, the branches might snap, depending on how big the buds are.

Correct me please if I'm wrong. Don't plants develope weaker stalks when grown indoors? I've heard it's because they don't have to put up with much, or any wind, and thus put all of their energy into growing buds, etc? Something along those lines anyway.
I have a couple of mine tied right now, just reaching for the light.

BTW - Those are some really nice looking plants.Living well is the best revenge.

If it were me. I would go to a hardware store and but little "J" hooks and screw then into the ceiling above the plant. Then I would tie them up using the J hooks for support. Tie the rope LOOSE. You want support not a hanging! lol

Use silica in your water to promote stronger stems and better resistance to drought.

I heard there was something you could feed the plants to keep the stalks strong. Also for indoor check information on scrog or screen of green.

If you use the ScrOG or screen of green the strength of the stems should not matter and you will maximize your harvest. Just do a search on this forum for details.
