But I believe you are confusing the method of rooting clones to the method of germinating seeds. If you try this again, first of all... light is not that important at this stage, for example you don't need reflective surfaces etc. You might want to soak the seeds in a glass of water the first night. The following morning put them on top of your peat moss pellets, and just keep them and the pellets moist. Just spray them with some clean clear water, keeping the temperature at about 75F. If you have a heating pad, set it at 75 and forget about it. You can use a dome to keep the humidity up, but its not necessary. I have ruined plenty by using a dome. I couldn't figure out why my clones would die, until I measured the humidity and it was 100%. They died of lack of oxygen since the dome was not vented, and the humidity was such that the stems just fell over.
