    Amounts FROM dispensary's

    Blank, dang son I have never even heard of a stawberry/cayan cross. I have grown both individually and would love to grow what you describe. (I hope you are talking about actaul fruit and not using codespeak)

    Most of my experience has been with OG Kush types. Mostly with what used to be known as SFV OG and I grew that from clones only. At one time the OG I was growing was considered by many to be the best there is as far as quality. Samples from the guy I got the clones from were actually part of a High Times Magazine TOP TEN Issue a few years back.

    If you are looking at clones in a dispensary you should let them know that you are specifically looking for pain relief meds with very high potency. The road to getting what you need is to ask for it rather than letting them guess. Additionally you will probably need to talk directly with the shop owner/operator rather than the sales clerks in order to reach the most knowledgable person involved. You are looking for something high in THC but also high in the other cannabiniods (spelling?) I think but I am now getting way out of my personnal knowledge area so I will stop now.

    Growing from seeds is a terrific experience but clones are your best bet for reliability. In LA appropriate donations for clones seem to run in the $10 to $15 range.

    Hope this helps,
    Max Blast

    @Max

    I was talking about real fruit. This year im going to try and alter genetics of something but Im still not sure what. Ive still got plenty of peppers and nothin to do with them. Any ideas? The way the pepper hybrid turned out was like this; The regular peppers I grew from seeds turned out to be about 6-7" long and were,as they should be, hot as hell. The cross, which Id really rather not divulge how it was done, turned out to be about 3" and didnt taste anything like strawberries but were really sweet and maybe a 4/10 on the heat scale.
    Like I said, this year without giving away too much of the plan (partially because I wouldnt want somebody to get it right before me and partially cause I dont wanna look like a dumbass if it dosent work) The trick is going to be to extract "DNA" from the plant and either COMPLETELY change the taste of the 2nd plant to taste like the first one... Or my ultimate goal would be to create say a pepper that could be grown with perhaps the flavor of somebodies favorite type of alcohol for people like me that love the taste of a good premium beer or whiskey but dont like to act like an ass while drunk or just to get the flavor of it in the food. HIGH hopes I know, and that is probably a couple of years away at least for the alcohol plant, if it is even possible but its a hobby. Im not happy with the way other people say something is supposed to taste smell or fell... So I change it. :hippy:

    I forgot to say that its stuff like this "creativity" with veggies and other stuff that makes me think I could come up with something pretty interesting as far as playing "Dr. Greenthumb". What do you think? I haven't had any botanical training as far as school its just mainly trial and error and it just comes naturally. I'd really have to study up on the other stuff though. I really know close to nothing about its lighting and watering conditions and genetic make-up so it might take a while.

    I grew so many peppers this year that I could not even give them away although they were great. Got a lot of excellent Habanero that were so hot no-one could use them. I was able to use the Anahiems in a lot of ways so that was good. My technique for using all the excess hot peppers this year seems like it will be to keep them in baggies in the refer until they rot and I have to throw them out.
