A quick shout out of gratitude.

In the last several weeks I have had the opportunity to get info and advice from some really cool froods and I wanted to say thanks. Maybe one day we can all hook up at a cannabis cup and :S5: :smokebong: :vap_rasta:. Maybe in our own country? Wouldn't that be the shizit?

Everyone can be my teacher, in that I may learn from them.

All are welcome my farmer friend. As Charleton Heston once said "All who thirst for Freedom may come with us."

I know I know Charleton Heston, but in his earlier days before he jumped on the extreme right political band wagon he made some pretty good movies. LOL!

Hey BK....just let me know where and when! I'll bring some goodies to throw on the pile!

I was once told the best way to learn and become an expert on any subject is to teach it to others...I learn as much or more here as I teach, than I teach, so it all evens out in the end...just as it should! Just promise to keep passing on the knowledge you gain here in the future to others who want to know. OVERGROW THE WORLD should be our goal...like the old Sherman-Williams paint slogan....cover the earth!

    :thumbsup:Tank,

I am 46 now and when I started smoking, I would also buy $20.00 lids. I thought my friends in school where the only ones who said "Never go straight, always forward" (of course that was also before being straight meant heterosexual LOL!). And 'gold' pot was really GOLD (mind you how they made a green plant gold is beyond me). Granted the quality was not as good as most of the stuff you get these days, no one bothered to sensi their buds then and sometimes 1/4 of what you got was seed/stem weight. But nowadays $60.00 for an eighth! C'mon! I understand economics and such but $480.00 for a 'lid'? I had stopped smoking in 1997, then prices were $25.00/eighth. When I decided I had enough psychotropic drugs to control my anxiety attacks, I started back up again Nov of 2009. When I first heard $60.00/eighth I almost passed out! I know a place where I can get schwag for $50.00/quarter, but who wants hamburger when prime rib is on the menu?

So, I decided that my best option was to learn how to grow my own. I just spent a nice chunk of change for equipment/seeds. But that will pay for itself very quickly. I have learned a TON of valuable info on this web site. So I am sure I can be a successful personal use only farmer.

Hey, what do you think the REAL chances of being busted for a very small grow (2 plants max) using LED and CFL to cut down on the infrared heat signal are these days? To be honest I am of the opinion that unless I tell anyone but God about my garden, the chances of police involvement are like those of winning mega millions lottery.

Anyway, just wanted to communicate with a fellow 'old-hippie':hippy:PEACE!
