I'm pretty sure you can only purchase the legal amount your recommendation say's your allowed to carry....IE: 8oz of dried bud....
I dunno why you'd need more, cause that's a sh*t load of pot to smoke for a long time:rasta:

8 zips is what I was thinkin too. I had also heard that it was 4 which would be plenty for a month or more of personal use and maybe some sharing WITH OTHER MEDICAL CARDHOLDERS.
You wouldnt by chance know what a full O goes for at a shop would you? (i do know they charge different prices. Just lookin for an average.)
Thanks for the input[SIZE=\"2\"][COLOR=\"DarkRed\"](Any and all posts are for information and are not factual.)

There are no circumstances that allow any "purchase or sale" of marijuana in California. Do your own homework and read both prop215 and prop420. Anyone who tells you otherwise is basically full of crap.
Read the law itself and you will see this!Never argue with a fool: 1) People watching can not tell who is who 2) They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

(I posted on the other CA board back to you also)
I do understand what you are puttin down, just kinda flipped when I read what you put on the other board. The idea for the card was sprung on me by my family. I hadnt previously done any research and then when I did get the card I couldnt find a definitive rules and regs page for info.It wasnt something that I did more than say once a year but I have some major health problems (and a problem with my scripted pain meds no longer working).
I do apologize for snapping on the other CA board I was just kinda offended, or maybe betrayed would be a better word for it because I felt that this site was where certain people could get the info that they needed and I thought that there was somebody on here that maybe shouldnt be. Get me?[SIZE=\"2\"][COLOR=\"DarkRed\"](Any and all posts are for information and are not factual.)

Blank, sorry if you were offended. I meant no offense to you or your post/question. I just get irritated by those who respond to posts/questions like yours with what are clearly unresearched answers.
Sometimes my bluntness comes across as a beligerant tone that is not really intended on my part. My suggestions to do your own reading of the law is to help you avoid being mislead by those responders by educating yourself directly from the original source. Try Americans For Safe Access website or a Google search for the text of both laws. I'm pretty sure you will understand it and see that some of the answers you will get on any board will be both immature and uninformed.
Having said that, you will also find many members here that will bend over backwards to assist you. (including myself)
Some dispensaries in LA will ask you to leave if you use language that implies "sales". This is for their protection from law enforcement entrappment.
regards and good luck to you,
Max Blast

Make sure you know what to look for to tell the difference in quality...
Keep in mind you can also get Keif which is basically pretty heavy in THC crystals.
Suggested Donations:
$10
$15
$20
$25
Sometimes adding Keif to a smaller donation tier of medicine is better.
