Buds w/seeds are from a female plant that was pollenated by a male plant (unless it's a hermie as mentioned in the prior response). That's why you pull the males asap unless you are trying to get pollen or seeds for future grows. Always seperate the males from the females if you are planning to get the males to produce pollen and not have seeds in your buds.

The things that I have read about a Male plant are Vague at best, so I've thought up some specific questions to eliminate my confusion on my first grow.
