what I'm asking is- dif means difference in day night temps- I read somewhere that increasing the dif by lowering night temp it mimics fall cool nights and helps speed up maturing

My screen name is where I live- on a mountain with a valley on each side with higher mountains on the other side - my little mountain, I have bear, fox, turkey in my yard often, 2 years back I had a bear getting into my patch- I know where a bear shits for sure. hoping my health improves so I can pick wild edible mushrooms in a few weeks- I am in the woods for sure and love it !
