so I went to my local grow supply shop and not only were they way more friendly this time, but they didn't try and push me into buying some stupid over priced setup. I told them I wasn't interested in pre-fab setups and they agreed to hear me out and see exactly what my desires for my grow room were. They explained the concept of amperage and how each electrical devices inserted into my design will have its own constant amperage that will be totaled together to make the sum of what your total draw will be. I am not really an electrical specialist so all these before mentioned concepts although very simple to understand, weren't so easy for a novice to grasp without the proper explanation. I digress though why i am posting is to ask for someones opinion on pricing. the owner of the shop agreed to sale me two bulbs for just $200 flat out the door. they usually cost 110 a piece plus tax. However I am aware that most shops can already have their prices vastly overpriced so I want to be sure that even with his discount that I am paying a good price. they sun master warm deluxe 400w metal halides for a vertical bulb application. Again he offered them to me at $100 a piece out the door... is that good?
