Im not sure about my lighting conditions

So I live in South America. I started my plants about 2 months ago and they look super healthy and are about 2.5 feet tall. They started showing their pistils about a week and a half ago. The problem is the weather was been super sunny and nice for the past month and now it is getting really cloudy and rainy. I am concerned that the light may be inadequate now for them to maintain flowering...they have not produced more since the showing of the pistils. They grow by a window indoor in soil...get about 6 good direct hours of sun then another six good hours of indirect.

Do you all think the heavy clouds are gonna stop their flowering?

Yual be usein mother natures and god light to grow and it be the perfect light be growin with cause those folks do it right. Be just givin them some time be figurn and wait see how they start up gain. Are yur days gettin shorter as well or just darker days cause of clouds?

Just darker with the clouds. I think I may have confused them a bit too with turning on the lights at night in my room where they are....I've stopped doing that and have sealed off my room from light from the house so they get the full 12 hours of darkness they need. If I did confuse them, how long till they revert back to a flowering stage again?

good advice. the twang gets extra points. :rastasmoke:

this is why people grow in rooms, or tents! you need to be able to keep out light for a solid 12 hours to grow dank buds.

Yes, while 12 hours of light is good for budding and enough light gets through the clouds for them to grow, it's the 12 hours of DARK that make them flower..if there are street lights, porch lights, or any other light leaking in from your window during the dark 12, it will delay the finish, maybe severely....so 12 hours in the sun or cloudy sun, and then put them in a closet, or somewhere similar so there is no light...and go in first and close the door to make sure there are no light leaks when lights are on outside the closet. That should speed up the finish as much as is possible...BWD is right...they are confused right now, but not from the clouds. Best of luck with the finish!

Yeah...I'm pretty sure they are now getting the darkness they need. Outside the window is my patio which is surrounded by just the mountains for 180 degrees. To the left there are some neighbors, but they are blocked by a wall. There is no light coming in except from the night sky. If I am in my room I can only see the night...which is not pitch black but as dark as the night. How long do you all think til the plants get back on the Flowering Schedule?

    another quick question:

I just started closing the curtains. Its darker in my room now. But the around the edges of the curtains some of the night sky can be seen coming in around the edges. This is light but is not from any light source...just the night sky. But it looks more concentrated coming in around the edges than the total blackness that now surrounds the plants....would I be better off leaving the curtains open to recieve the night sky or the closed curtains with the edges of night light coming in very faintly around the edges...?
