If it wasn't for cannabis, I'd easily find a job that paid my qualifications, and it still wouldn't come close to state workers pay in academia. And I know a Seattle City worker how said to the union, I'll willingly give up $10.00 an hour because he actually feels he's over paid.

The prevailing wage law neeeds to be addressed to get these fat salary, benefit and pension plans back in line with private industry. Its wrong for someone making $10 an hour to have to pay for a welfare worker doing the exact same job and making $30 an hour.
