This chief needs to go back to science class. Alcohol is absorbed immediately by the body. Uneducated idiots overseeing our lives? Time for a change. This should be on Myth Busters. :lol5:
"Alcohol can be consumed responsibly. For example, you can have a glass of wine, enjoy the glass of wine with dinner and not become immediately impaired. When you smoke marijuana, you become immediately impaired. That's the point of smoking," said Mercer Island Police Chief Ed Holmes. Since I've quit drinking, seven years in July, I'll challenge the chief and one of his drivers taking a few shots, and me a few hits. Then we can see who the navigator is!!!
I was pretty good at driving drunk too, but I had my share of you know whats!!! :S2: Why just the other day, I drove for about19 hours straight, then didn't sleep until 10 that night. Almost 40 hours with no nada in my system but a couple cups of coffee!!

hello. what is responsible about consuming any legal intoxicant? tolerances to cannabis can be built without surpassing a level of system poisoning and death. tolerances allow cannabis users to perform at or near regular activity levels. choosing to do so is much more difficult. the fact remains that medical cannabis users are able to perform better at physical dexterity than they could without the aid, and the medicine will improve their performance. it neutralizes the negativity in their body, much alike the recreational user attains with a daily effort at a built level of tolerance. many people drive better on weed than without, and that they cannot is the myth to be busted.

Your last sentence was my exact point. Bring on the driving tests, I can still pull a California turnabout with the right vehicle and conditions!!!
Cannabis doesn't stop my brain from functioning, it enhances its function if you know how to use it!

I hope that passes. I'm from Seattle and have many family up there. Course, Washington tries very hard to keep its head up California's ass. They've been really trying since the production of Rambo. lol :rambo:.

Well in all respects here, anything taken into the lungs goes straight into the blood stream.. anything liquid must go through the liver first before entering the blood stream..
Common sense would dictate that smoking cannabis most surely intoxicated one faster than any liquid ever could.
